For sale

TER sells items of stolen and recovered equipment on behalf of owners.

From time to time TER sell recovered equipment on behalf of owners, primarily insurers.  All equipment is sold via a closed offer process and is usually sold to the highest bidder.  We do not disclose sale prices.

Overview of process

When recovered items become available for sale pictures and general machine information will be added to the website.  We will provide a general condition report although this is for guidance only.  All items are 'sold as seen' with no warranty given or implied so we always recommend that you view an item prior to submitting any offer.  We usually give seven days to enable you to view the items.

Once you have decided what the item(s) is worth, you can submitt your bid.  Please be aware that this is a legal agreement, and once a bid has been submitted you are liable for the offer that you have made.  VAT will be added to all sale prices unless you are outside the UK and can provide a valid VAT number.  Once the offer period has expired you will be notified if you were successful or not.

If you are successful you will be sent an invoice and have seven days to arrange a BACS transfer, storage will be charged beyond this time.  Once payment has been cleared you will be sent a collection document with the storer details for you to contact to arrange collection.
